Reference - Docket Entry


Press the Enter key to display a blank entry line at the bottom of the table. 

Enter the docket information and click the Save button. 

What each field represents:

Description - This is the name of the docket entry.

Financial - Click the checkbox if money is involved.  If not checked then this docket entry will be used for informational purposes only.

System - Click the checkbox if this a system entry, such as Assign Judge.  These entries are typically hidden by default on the docket history screen, but can be viewed by clicking the Audit checkbox on the history screen.

Comment - Click the checkbox if a comment field should be enabled and used when entering the docket entry and display on the docket history screen.

Scan Pages - Click the checkbox if the docket entry will have notices or minutes associated with in that will be scanned and saved.

Amount - Click the checkbox if the docket entry will have a default fee amount posted to the case.

Base Amount - Enter the amount that will be posted to the case by default, when this docket entry is used. 

Notice - If there is a notice associated to this docket entry, select the notice from the drop-down field. 

Payee - Enter the payee name or select the payee from the drop-down list, should this docket entry post money to the case.  This is who the money will go to during disbursements. 

Default Cost Type - Select the default cost type from the drop-down field.  In most cases, this will be regular cost.

Party Served - If a notice is associated with this docket entry, click the checkbox to specify that a party will be selected to receive the notice.
